Program description:
1. day:
Arrival to Havana, transfer to the hotel, check in. Evening for leisure.
2. day:
After breakfast optional tour in Havana. The city tour includes visit of Old part of Havana. Main sights: UNESCO World Heritage site, La Habana Vieja: Cathedral square, Capitolio, Plaza de Armas, Plaza San Francisco de Asis, and Plaza Vieja. Get to know the production of the famous Cuban rum in Havana Club Rum Museum, with tasting. Lunch in the historical district of Havana in a typical local restaurant. In the afternoon go through Hemmingway’s route: his room in the Hotel Ambos Mundos, his favorite bars: La Floridita and La Bodeguita del Medio, where the world famous “Mojito” and “Daiquiri” started their world conquer. Return to the hotel. In the evening free time for leisure.
In the evening option for night program:
„Tropicana Show" – See the most famous revu in Cuba. The large-scale production of more than 150 dancers, orchestra lets us to enjoy the true Caribbean atmosphere. The two-hour program includes VIP table, drinks and the round-trip shuttle service to the hotel.
3. day:
After breakfast optional program: Visit Vinales Valley: Full day excursion to the western part of the country, in Pinar del Rio province, to the picturesque Viñales Valley (170kms from Havana) that was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999. Stop at the viewpoint of Los Jazmines that offers marvelous views of the „Mogotes” or "Haystacks”. Visit of local tobacco plantations and learning about the productions. Afterwards boat trip in the Indian Caverns, in Cuba's oldest cave system. Visit the Mural de la Prehistoria, a unique wall painting. Lunch at a typical Cuban restaurant.
In the evening option for night program:
Buena Vista Social Club Concert: Buena Vista Social Club, the concert of the world-famous Cuban band in Havana. The two-hour concert starts at 21:30 where they play non-stop music for two hours. In the repertoire can be heard the most popular songs like "Chan Chan" or "La bayamesa". Sadly, some of the group’s aging stars are no longer with us: Ibrahim Ferrer, Rubén Gonzalez, Compay Segundo, but the timeless music lives on!
4. day:
After breakfast, transfer to Cayo Santa Maria. Transfer to the hotel, check in. Meal plan: All inclusive.
5 - 6. day:
Time for leisure. The sport equipment of the hotel is at disposal free of charge: mini-catamaran, cayak, paddle boat, surf. Daily and night animation. You can take optional excursions in Cayo Santa Maria
7. day:
Time for leisure. Check out from the hotel until 12:00. The hotel provides the services until the time of departure without extra cost. Also, a luggage room is available to store the luggage until the transfer arrives. Courtesy room is available for shower and change of clothes. If you prefer stay in the room, a late check-out option is available for extra charge. Transfer to the Havana airport. Farewell.
